North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to supporting equity and justice for all by fostering community among Asian Americans and allies in North Carolina.

Two posters were created to inform the public about AAPI history, who NCAAT is, and address pressing issues in the North Carolina community.

There was a lot to communicate through two posters. To make all that information digestible, thought was put into their layout.

One part of the solution are the illustrations. They helped break up the text and assist in their messaging.

It was also important to focus on the text’s hierarchy through paragraph and character styles. Having the text organized made the content more approachable.

These posters were displayed during NCAAT’s AAPI Heritage month celebration. They helped educate North Carolina’s Raleigh community and spread NCAAT’s mission through fun illustrations and enriched content.
